From the 29th till the 31st of July I worked with Arcadia as a Lighting Intern for Arcadia Spectacular helping the team to build their Afterburner stage at Valley Fest.
I helped to rig lighting, run cable for lighting fixtures along with setting up the front of house area for the show. I also got an insight to the other roles that bring the stage together which helped me to really understand how the stage are built and how the stage comes together.
I really enjoyed working with Arcadia and also learnt about how they build and come up with their stage designs and concepts along with this ti was my first festival that I have helped out with during the build. It was eye opening to see it come together from another perspective.
